Return / Refund Policy
If you would like to return an item you ordered from the website, please contact us through the Track and Manage My Order or Contact Us pages and we will respond as soon as possible. Our email address is: alexisonfire@store-08.com
Returns must be received within 30 days of the original delivery date. Returned items must be received in new condition. They must not have been worn, soiled or washed. They must be free from hair, odor, etc. CDs, Records, DVDs etc., must remain factory sealed. If, upon inspection, the returned item is deemed to have been used, soiled or laundered, or is otherwise unsellable, we cannot offer a refund. The item may then be returned to the customer at their expense or discarded.
All shipping costs and shipping sales tax for returns must be covered by the buyer. Please get in touch with us BEFORE returning your item(s) or we cannot be responsible for any additional fees or costs incurred in error. Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges outside of the 30-day return policy.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Vinyl - If your new record has significant playback issues like skipping or jumping, please contact us within the designated return period. We inspect the outside of the records packaging before shipment to make sure there are no visible issues and do our best to ensure that the records reach customers in good condition. However, due to the nature of vinyl records (i.e., plastic discs in paper sleeves and often sealed inside paperboard jackets) and the fact that they are handled and transported from the moment of production, we cannot guarantee that these physical music products will be free from cosmetic imperfections, such as:
- corner bumps or slight creases to jackets or sleeves
- seam splits
- slight warp
- visible scuffs or blemishes on the disc surface or labels
- occasional pops, static or similar minor surface noise common with vinyl
Neither the record labels nor shipping companies consider these issues to be covered under any warranty or insurance, so refunds and replacements are unfortunately not possible. If, for example, you are a collector or reseller who requires mint condition jackets or sleeves, or a perfectly clear pressing, we recommend ordering from and/or picking up vinyl from a local record store so you can potentially inspect and/or listen to the record before committing to the purchase. Picking up from our facility is also often possible. However, please contact customer service before placing your order if you'd like to request a pickup.
Exchanges
To save time and to avoid an item being sold out before the returned item is received, we generally prefer returns for refunds over exchanges. This allows the customer to purchase and receive the item they need at their convenience, rather than waiting for the returned item to arrive at our warehouse. However, direct exchanges are possible. In either case, please contact customer support for a return form and instructions, and we'll be happy to assist you.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take 1-7 business days for the credit to appear in your payment method depending on the processes of your service provider.
